Demo Work for New Studio
March 31, 2011
JACKSONVILLE – The new home for Speedpro Imaging comes a step closer to reality. Demolition crews completed work this week at the Philips Highway site. The 3610 square foot facility will house gallery and graphic production space, as well as executive offices and meeting areas.
Speedpro Owner-President David Reed and Urban Partners Group of Jacksonville have been working on the studio's design with assistance from Commercial Interiors of Jacksonville. "Special things are going to happen in this place," says Reed, who cites unique client experience as the guiding design principle. "This will be an amazing environment for creative and marketing professionals to meet, get new ideas, and see custom, state-of-the-art graphic imaging." Speedpro anticipates a June opening for the new studio.

Bus Sign for Bud Light Hotel
February 6, 2011
FORT WORTH, TX – Speedpro Imaging's Dave Reed makes ESPN signs—lots of ESPN signs. As a consultant for 8 years with ESPN's Special Event Marketing group, his responsibilities include impromptu last-minute branding and signage for a multitude of activities during major televised events.
"I've really ramped up this area of our work over the last few years. When I first started, we just threw down a logo and some text, and moved on. But I've long believed that any printed item, no matter how 'minor-detail' it seems, is a unique and powerful opportunity to either build or destroy brand equity. It's that simple, no exceptions."
This year, Dave received local support from Speedpro Imaging in Fort Worth. "A lot of places weren't even open with all the ice on the roads. Jerry Henry and his crew stepped up to print traffic signs for our hotel shuttle and for ESPN The Magazine's Next Party." The Next Party is one of the biggest, star-studded celebrity events during the Super Bowl. "It's amazing how quickly fundemental plans can change, even with an affair of that magnitude and complexity. You've got to have solid professionals like Speedpro who just appreciate situations and make things happen."

GAINESVILLE – The grand opening of Rockey's Dueling Piano Bar featured a special touch from Speedpro Imaging - Jacksonville. A 5 foot diameter Rockey's logo appears emblazened into the old red brick wall behind the bar. Speedpro produced the artwork using specialty printed materials which were "fired into" the wall for the unique look. It's a signature feature inside the establishment, and one that's drawing lots of attention from patrons. Rockey's will soon have another custom Speedpro Imaging product adorning its walls. Details soon to be released. For more information about Rockey's, visit www.rockeysduelingpianos.com.

SAINT AUGUSTINE BEACH – Despite a cold and windy morning start, the first Paws at the Pier benefiting Canine Companions for Independence was a resounding success. Speedpro Imaging worked with organizers to produce signage seen across St. Augustine in days leading up to the event. Speedpro itself took part in venders row at the Beach Pavilion, pitting its own beach-themed outdoor displays against the elements. By afternoon, attendees enjoyed a beautiful sunny day of fun, great music, and awesome dogs; all to benefit a wonderful cause.
